Create a shift type for anything from sick days to bank holidays overtime and more.
Creating a Custom Shift Type
Click on the settings icon in the bottom left hand corner of your screen.
Click on + to add a shift type.
Type the name of the shift type in the shift name box.
Customise the shift type with an emoji.
Choose if the shift is paid or unpaid.
If the shift is paid select if there is a % or monetary value added to the existing rate.
Adjust the settings related to that shift.
Click create.
The shift is now ready to be used in your schedule.

Using a Custom Shift Type in your Schedule
In the schedule screen click on the shift you want to assign across from the person you want to apply the shift to.
Complete the shift information as usual and select the shift type from the drop down menu.
The shift is now applied .
