Create a shift type for anything from sick days to bank holidays, overtime and more.

Creating a Custom Shift Type

  1. Click on your brand name in the top left hand side and click on the settings icon.

  2. Click on labour settings, under shift types press the + icon to add a new shift type.

3. Type the name of the shift type in the name box. You can select if the shift is paid or unpaid.

If the shift is paid select if there is a % or monetary value added to the existing rate.

4. Adjust the settings related to that shift. When you're happy with everything, click create. This shift is now ready to be used in your schedule.

Using a Custom Shift Type in your Schedule

  1. Under Schedule & Workforce, head to the Schedule section, choose the location and click on the shift you want to assign across from the person you want to apply the shift to.

2. Complete the shift information as usual and select the shift type from the drop down menu.

3. Press Create Shift for it to apply to your schedule.
