Understand how your sales data is captured and presented in Nory.

Where do the sales figures come from?

Nory links directly to your EPOS system. Nory takes the restaurants net sales figure

Gross sales - VAT - Service charge = Net sales

and displays that on your sales insights page.

What will affect my sales data?

Open Checks:

If a check is not closed then the sales will not be displayed until it is closed. Once the check is closed it will update the sales from the day that it was opened. Inventory items will also be registered as sold on the day the check was open.

πŸ’‘ To keep your data as clean as possible it's good practice to make sure any outstanding checks are closed at the end of the day.

Unassigned POS

Selling items through your POS that are not attached to a recipe in Nory will mean that although the over sales figures are pulled you inventory sales data will not be correct.
