How to record your figures in Cash Management

Ditch the spreadsheet and keep your cash management in Nory.

Use the cash management feature to track variances, deposit payments and petty cash expenditure.

Cash management

Once logged in to Nory select cash management from the menu bar in the top left of your screen.

If you have multiple locations they will show in a list. Filter the date by sales, variances, banking or payouts to show high level view of the locations cash management.

Filter the list by sales amount by adding a value in show sales over.

Cashing up

To start a cash up select the venue from the list or use the search bar in the top left hand corner of the screen.

Select cash up in the top right corner of the screen.

The cash up details will open on the right hand side of the screen.

Select the date that the cash up is related to.

Complete the Sales section using sales information rom you POS system to see your total income.

Now enter any payments received, along with any payouts in the Less section. You can then view your Reconciled total and any variance.

If lodging money in the bank, you can record the cash lodged, keep a record of gift vouchers that are in stock and the bag reference in the lodgements section.

Use the day notes to record anything specific about the cash up.

Reviewing cash ups

To review previous cash ups select the date range you wish to view from the search bar at the top of the screen.

Preview any notes that have been added by hovering over the speech bubble icon.

๐Ÿ’ก You can edit your figures by clicking on the information for that day. If you do make any amendments consider adding a note highlighting what has been amended and why.
