Nory's QuickBooks integration lets you push approved supplier invoices straight from Nory so your finance team no longer has to re-key invoices by hand.
Once it's set up, invoices (and their attachments) flow across in a couple of clicks, mapped to the right ledger accounts automatically.
What the integration does
Syncs approved invoices from Nory into QuickBooks, including any attached documents.
Maps your Nory categories to your QuickBooks ledger accounts, so each invoice line lands in the correct account.
Matches your suppliers to the corresponding Vendors in QuickBooks.
Optionally uses classes (for example, one per brand or location) so you can track spend by site inside QuickBooks.
Nory syncs invoices into QuickBooks, not the other way around: it doesn't pull data back out, and it won't change anything in QuickBooks beyond creating the synced invoices.
How to sync an invoice
When an invoice has been approved in Nory, you can send it to QuickBooks in a few clicks:
Go to Purchases → Invoices in Nory.
Find and select an approved invoice.
In the Actions menu, choose Sync to accounting system
The sync usually takes a few seconds. Once it's done, the invoice and any attachments will appear in QuickBooks against the correct ledger account (and class, if you use them).
💡 Tip: Only approved invoices can be synced. If you don't see the sync option, check that the invoice has been fully approved first.
Setup is handled for you
Your Nory account manager can help you set up the QuickBooks integration, including connecting your QuickBooks account, mapping your Nory categories to the right ledger accounts, and switching on classes if you use them.
To get things moving, your account manager may confirm a few details with you, such as:
That account numbers are enabled on your QuickBooks chart of accounts (Nory maps to ledger accounts using their account IDs).
Which suppliers should be matched to Vendors in QuickBooks.
Whether you'd like to track spend using classes, and how they should be grouped.
Once your account manager confirms everything is connected and mapped, you're ready to start syncing.
Need a hand?
If an invoice doesn't sync as expected, or you'd like to add new suppliers, categories, or classes to the mapping, reach out to your Nory account manager or contact support and we'll sort it out.
