After setting your default configuration for your employees holiday entitlements (more information on how to do so here). You can then view your employees current balance and make changes.
You have the option to set whether an employee is entitled to holidays or not.
Hourly paid employees
For hourly paid employee, you can set the average hours worked per day or choose to apply the average worked hours in the past 52 weeks to determine typical daily work hours.
This will be then used to define a typical working day and then calculate holiday entitlements in days.
Annual leave overview: In the table below, you can see the carryover from the previous year, the accrued entitlements for the current year.
Current leave balance: you can then check how many holidays the employee has already planned (approved) and taken, as well as their current balance (paid entitlements - planned/taken)
Projected leave balance: provides you the information of how many days should be accrued by the hourly paid employee until the end of the year, with their current daily work pattern (factoring in the planned and taken leave).

Yearly entitlements: Salaried employees receive an entitlement in days at the start of the holiday year, depending on how the rules have been set.
Carryover: they can also carry over holiday from previous years.
Current leave balance
You can also view how many days an employee has planned, taken as well as their current balance (yearly entitlements - planned/taken).
