Nory allows you to complete counting with multiple people at the same time, helping you streamline the counting process.

Collaborate seamlessly in real-time, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your counts.

Ensure app is up to date

Before counting, users should make sure the Nory IM app is up to date. They can do this by clicking on their profile icon and verifying that the version is at least 3.23.1.

Then exiting and re-entering the app to check for updates and updating if one is available.

Starting a count

Once one person starts a count, other people can join their count to work on it together. To do this, one person should start a count.

Now others who will be counting with them should find the count in their count list and start counting on it, as they would if they were continuing a draft count.

As you count, you might count the same item as someone else. If Nory detects that you’ve double counted something, this alert will appear:

If you want to keep what you’ve just counted, select Update count. To keep what was already there, select Keep current count.

To keep a mix of both, put the values you want into the boxes on the right, then select Update count.

Once you’re done counting, you can save your count.

Anything you count is saved immediately, but if you exit the count and re-open it, you won’t see it until you save. At that point, others will also see what you’ve counted.

Finishing a count

When you finish a count, the alert will list how many items haven’t been counted by anyone (which will likely be different to the number shown at the bottom of the count list), and how many people haven’t yet saved their count.

If you confirm, their counts will be saved.

Older / Solo Counts

It’s not currently possible to have multiple people counting on already existing older counts. To highlight counts that only support one person counting at a time, the following alert is shown at the top of the item list - even when the list is filtered.

In some situations, counts may revert into Solo Counts, and in those cases the alert above will also be shown.
