Employee onboarding: Document requests and E-signature set up

Set up documents to be requested from or signed by employees

Setting up onboarding documents, to be provided or reviewed

Click on Business Profile and click Settings, in the top right hand corner of Nory and select Onboarding under Settings

Under Onboarding settings, all documents that need to be provided, reviewed or signed can be added here.

To add the documents that need to be provided click Add document

Add a document name and a description of the document, or request

Click All new starters need to provide this document to make providing the document mandatory

Click Save

This document will now be requested when a new employee is created through Nory

Setting up documents to be reviewed

For documents that employees will need to review, like company policies, food safety and handbooks, add as Documents that need to be reviewed

To add documents that need to be reviewed click add document

Add a document name and a description of the document

Drag and drop or upload the document you wish to be reviewed

Click Save

Setting up documents to be signed

To add the documents that need to be Signed click Add document

Add a document name and a description of the document

Drag and drop or upload the document requiring a signature

Select a Sender from the drop down menu

Select only the sender can counter sign the document if you want to restrict signing privileges to one person (Sender). If this box is not selected anyone with access can send and countersign the document.

In this example, as the box is ticked, only the person who sends the document will be able to countersign it.

Choose the fields that will need to be completed on the contract, use the drop down menu to select the fields

Select the Fields that will automatically prefill with employee data, when selected in the template.

Once fields are chosen, click Configure document template.

First select the fields that are completed by the sender.

The fields that can be completed by the sender are highlighted in pink, the sender will use the textbox only. The text box will populate from the employees profile on Nory.

Drag and drop the text box to the appropriate place in the contract,

Select the text that should appear, by clicking "What text goes here?" from the drop down menu in the bottom left corner

Continue this set until the necessary fields are complete

Select employee from the dropdown menu in the top right hand corner

Select the fields from the right hand side that the employee will need to complete. These are highlighted in blue, and details will pull for the employee through auto fill, signature fields and standards fields.

Select Manager from the dropdown menu in the top right hand corner

Select the fields from the left hand side that the manager will need to complete. This will be marked in orange

If you don't require the manager to sign the document, you can make their signature non-mandatory by unchecking the "Required field" option for the manager's signature field.

πŸ’‘ Manager in this situation is the counter signer. Including a manager's signature line is mandatory for the system to save the document successfully, but you can make their actual signature optional as described above.

Click continue in the top right hand corner of the screen

The documents are now ready to be sent and signed
