Need to pay your team different rates depending on the hours or day that they work? Use overtime rules so Nory can do this for you.

Click on the settings icon in the bottom left hand corner of your screen.

Select labour from the brand settings

Click add rule in the overtime rules section

There are two types of overtime rule that can be applied:

Weekly hours rule

This rule allows you to automatically pay your team a different rate when they reach a specified number of hours.

For example, you pay your team 25% more on hours that are worked over 40 in a week.

Give the overtime rule a name.

Select weekly hours from the scenario dropdown menu.

Enter the number of hours the employee needs to work over to be eligible for the increased rate (40) and the pay rate applicable (1.25).

Click create to enable the rule.

❗The rule is now active, but will not affect any previously approved shifts.

Overtime shifts are shown in a lighter colour on the schedule, over the shift to see which rule is applied to that shift.

Day of the week rule

Pay your team a different rate specific to the day that they work.

For example: Employees are paid 50% more for working on Sunday.

Give the overtime rule a name.

Select day of the week from the scenario dropdown menu.

Enter the day of the week that the rule will apply (Sunday), and the amount the pay rate applicable (1.5).

Select the employees the rate applies to using the tick boxes at the bottom of the screen.

Click create to enable the rule.

❗The rule is now active, but will not affect any previously approved shifts.

Overtime shifts are shown in a lighter colour on the schedule, over over the shift to see which rule is applied to that shift.
