Removing Employees
People come and go, we get it. Adding and removing staff from your books is a part of running any business. To remove a former employee go to the People view of your restaurant location.
Select the employee you want to remove.
Scroll down to the bottom of the employee’s profile to “Remove this employee”.
The employee may have holiday entitlements from the hours they have worked. If you wish to pay the employee these entitlements and record the payments in Nory click “Pay out holiday entitlements automatically” and Nory will include them as paid holidays in the next timecard. If you do not wish to pay the holiday entitlements select “Do not pay out entitlements”. Select one of the options and click Remove.
The employee will be removed from the People view.
On removing the employee (and if paying out the holiday entitlement), the remaining hours owing to the employee will show in a single holiday shift on the last day of working.
The holiday will then feed through to timecards along with the hours worked that week.
To reactivate a deactivate employee, you can simply follow the steps below.
Firstly, check your permissions and that you are granted to reactivate employees.
If you do have the permissions, exit out of the screen and head back to the people page. Once there, click "all status", then "deactivated.
You can then reactivate an employee by simply re-clicking "reactivate" and everything will be all set!
