We've introduced a number of enhancements to the Schedule Approval process, giving managers and approvers greater visibility into schedule changes, compliance, and the impact of manual edits.

Complete Schedule Audit Trail

Every schedule is now versioned automatically, providing a complete history of changes throughout the scheduling process.

Managers can:

  • Review all changes made after the Scheduling Assistant generated the schedule.

  • Submit schedules for approval with supporting notes explaining why changes were made.

Approvers can:

  • View the full change history alongside the manager's notes during approval.

  • If a schedule is rejected and resubmitted, easily identify only the changes made since the previous submission, making subsequent reviews quicker and more focused.

Compare AI Recommendations with Submitted Schedules

Approvers can now see how closely the final submitted schedule aligns with the Scheduling Assistant's recommendation.

During the approval process, you'll see:

  • The Cost of Labour (COL%) generated by the Scheduling Assistant.

  • The COL% of the submitted schedule.

  • The variance between the two, based on the forecast available at the time of submission.

This provides greater transparency into the impact of manual schedule changes and helps reviewers understand the trade-offs made before approving a rota.

Reporting on Schedule Compliance

New reporting capabilities also provide visibility into:

  • Site rota compliance against forecast.

  • Manual edits made to schedules.

  • Variances between the Scheduling Assistant recommendation and the final submitted rota.

These insights make it easier to identify scheduling trends, support coaching, and continuously improve schedule quality across sites.
